Can I use UBER in Nicaragua?
Sorry, but UBER does not operate here in Nicaragua.
Around 2017, the government decided not to offer a license to UBER in order to operate here in Nicaragua.
Can I use your transportation 24/7?
Yes, our transportation is available 24/7. We often transport guests between the airport and bus terminals, in the early morning. We’re used to it!
Do you charge extra to bring surfboards from the airport?
We do not charge extra for items that can be comfortably and safely brought inside of or on top of the vehicle. If you feel that you have an item that may not fit in a regular sized vehicle, just let us know and we’ll let you know if we can safely transport it or not.
How far ahead of time should I book my transportation?
Ideally, we would like to have things arranged at least 1 day ahead, to ensure that everything works smoothly. However, we can still arrange things with even a few hours notice.
How do I pay for the transportation?
With a valid reservation, where we receive your credit/debit card information, you are welcome to make payment (by cash or card) for the transport during check-in, when you arrive at the hostel.
How do I cancel my transportation?
In the case of a cancellation of the transportation, we would require that you contact us no later than 1 day before your expected arrival.
Any cancellations made after this time are non-refundable.
How will I find your driver?
Our driver will always be holding a sign with your name (or someone in your group) on it.
If you’re arriving at the airport, our driver will be waiting in arrivals, located after you clear customs.
I am arriving on Spirit Airlines (read: very late at night) . Can I stay at your hostel?
Yes, we welcome guests arriving late at night.
We just require that you arrive using our transportation. This will need to be arranged in advance with reception. That way we have no problem keeping our reception open until your arrival, at whatever hour that may be.
